Two weeks today, Tuesday 14th December, is the deadline for all of the filming to be done and both of our print products. Last weekend we did the majority of the night scene in Market Drayton and have edited it and merged it together with the rest of the video. We are travelling to Hanley, Stoke this weekend to finish that off, so the video should be mainly finished next week.

Jake and Nick have almost completed the front cover for our Digi-Pak and all there is left to with that is the inside and that will be finished next week. Our Magazine Advert is something we have yet to start, but now that the video is nearing completion, we are 100% sure we can get that complete.

Today, the 23^rd of November, we have held a group meeting to discuss what we need to do over the next week. This week we have done some more filming for our Music Video and we have captured it and started to edit it. However, we still need to finish off filming the nightlife scene. This will be done this weekend in a local club, with the owner’s permission. For this we need to take in both a camera and a tri pod. The nightlife scene will be split into two parts with one scene being shot in Market Drayton, and another in Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent. We also need to continue making progress with our digi-pak and magazine advert. We have a design made but we will need a couple more so that we can choose from the best.

Today, Tuesday 16^th November, we have held a group meeting to discuss what the group are going to do over the coming days before next week’s lesson. We still have much to achieve before Christmas, including the last of our filming. We have done a fair amount of editing but we still need to film the second half of the video, and this will be done this weekend.

This week we have decided to turn our attention to our print products, which we need to do. We are drawing up some designs for both the Digipak and magazine advert and that will be our focus this week. As we have four in a group, we have split the workload so that two of us will work on the digipak’s and the other two will work on the magazine advert. We are aiming to get about 4-5 designs foe each and then we will select our favourite to use.

On the 9/11/10 we held a group meeting. Unfortunately two of our group weren’t present. However, we decided in their absence that today we were going to focus on the editing of our Music Video. We haven’t completed the filming as of yet but we only need to film one scene for the end of our video. We do have enough footage to edit and now we have the music on the computer, we can put it to the time of the music.

We have also started on the design for our digi-pack. We already have one design but need a few more so we have a wide range from which to choose from. We will focus more on that next week.

Today, the 2^nd of November, we have held a group meeting to discuss what tasks we are going to do over the next week. With only a small amount of filming still to do, we feel that this is essential to complete. We also think that we should make a start on our Digi-Paks design and this will be started today and hopefully finished next week.

The design for our Digi-Pak has to relate to our band, Chase and Status, and their style and genre of music, Dub-step. It has to be similar but not identical. Next week we have also planned to start designing our Magazine advertisement. This has to be similar to our Digi-Pak in style, colour, font, font size etc.

During filming we have decided to take photos of us making the video and this will go on the blog, this will show what goes on behind the scenes. We also need to take photos of the different locations we have used to film in.
