DigiPak First Designs

Digi-Pak First Design

This is our first idea for the background on our Digi-Pack. The black and yellow work together well to create a striking background that fits in well

with our bands colour scheme. The bars at the bottom look worn out and old, and this gives a street look to it, which fits into Chase and Status’s genre.

We have added a grungy texture onto the yellow bars which fits in with the bands previous CD covers and Digi-Paks

Digi-Pak Draft 1

This is the original design for our Digi-Pack. We added the song title in big bold text to make it stand out and grab people’s attention. The white and black are contrasting colours and so this works well with our video, which is showing a General Practitioner getting to all sorts of trouble like drinking and drug taking. The colours make the difference between light and dark clear. The white represents goodness, while the dark represents evil, which show the two sides to our characters personality.

Digi-Pack 3nd design

Here is an image of Nick during filming. This is a part of the night scene filmed in Market Drayton at 3am! We are thinking about including this image on the back of our Digi-Pack. We like the lighting and feel that it would look good on the back.

Here is our 2nd Digi-Pack design. It is not yet finished but it is a good template for the final copy. We have kept the same big, bold white writing from before to make it stand out. The image of our character on the back is

included because, the lighting works well especially with the green. We added the colour because it is a toxic green, showing that his life is also toxic after work. It is also a grungy colour which is a genre associated with Chase and Status
